On the gentle hills of Lucca there are some of the oldest Camellia plants in Europe that were imported by the merchants of Lucca on the XVII century.
The Exhibition of the "Ancient Camellias of Lucchesia" is one of the most important in Europe and it is the best specialized in Italy. It takes place every year in March in a country area nearby Lucca. Along the itinerary, through the streets of the villages and in the Villas you'll find these secular Camellia trees the and a tea exhibition.
Our program offers the visit to the most important and beautiful Villas in Tuscany with their amazing gardens.
One day will be dedicated to the special itinerary "the gardens and the music" visiting the famous Giardino di Boboli in Florence and the Villa Caruso where a private concert will take place.
